View from Heights 2 house over pastures towards the lake
Welcome to Rancho del Paso (RDP), a Premier Country Living Gated Community at Lake Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico. RDP is first and foremost a serene and luxurious place to live, in the quiet pastoral hills above the lake yet within a 10-15 minute drive to the Chapala lakefront malecon and restaurants, to the supermarket and Walmart, tennis courts in La Cristina park, or golf at the Chapala Country Club. The views are vast and sweeping, the lake breezes refreshing, and the quiet pastoral surroundings are blissful.
The RDP acreage has two distinct sites: The north gate opens up to a luxurious boarding stable; the south gate opens to the 6 exquisite lake & mountain view lots available for purchase. The horse boarding facility offers private stalls and paddocks for each horse, an 90' x 125' riding arena, a round pen, veterinary stocks, wash area, easy access to miles of trails, and generous turnout areas. For the rider, the stable facilities include hay and feed storage, large, secure tack areas and an adjoining lounge with rest room facilities; and a stable hand to groom, tack up, and clean up after your horse.
RDP will be offering 6 home sites, each with breath taking views of Lake Chapala to the south, and majestic mountains to the north. Home owners' views and privacy will be preserved as the center of RDP will be devoted to lush grass pastures for the horses from the boarding stable.
Rancho del Paso Profile
HOUSES: Only 6 homesites will be available at the Rancho, each with spectacular Lake views. The lots are fully finished with underground utilities and allotments for interior access roads.
UTILITIES: Fully underground utilities (electric, water, gas) and plans for paved roads and walkways. Water is provided from the public Chapala water supply which runs alongside the rancho.
ACCESS ROADS: RDP is reached via smooth, well paved asphalt roads heading east from Chapala and the north into the hills above the lake.
PERIMETER: RDP is fully enclosed by stone walls along the well-paved public road, and 6 foot high chain link fences covered with bougainvilleas on the other 3 sides. The stone wall has a wrought iron topping with security alarm wiring on top of it. Residents will have their own gate to enter the residential side of the Rancho; boarding stable clients are restricted to the use of the north gate and north parking lot.
STABLES: Ten 12'X12' stalls with adjoining 12'X22' private paddocks, and individual covered cross-tie areas in the arched arcades outside each stall. HUGE tack room and boarders lounge with fridge and bathroom. Four of the stalls are occupied by the owners' prize-winning Peruvian Paso horses - hence, Rancho "del Paso".
EQUESTRIAN FACILITIES: Grass-covered turn out areas (irrigated in the dry season to stay green), 125' x 90' arena, 50' round pen. Large, secure tack/equipment storage, roomy stalls with private paddocks. Access to trails and dirt roads. Boarders parking lot inside the walled perimeter. Trailer parking available.
