RDP Equestrian Facilities – North Gate The Equestrian Center at RDP is accessible via the north gate entrance, with secure parking provided inside the gates.Boarding a horse at RDP costs 4,000 pesos/month, all feed, worming, etc included as well as a full-time stable manager, huge tack room, boarders lounge with bathroom, fridge and sink; vet stocks; washing area; and private riding arena/round pen. We have invested three-quarters of a million dollars in the equestrian facilities alone, and the health and happiness of riders & horses is foremost in our minds.
There are 10 stalls in the stables, each with a private paddock, & grassy pasture turnout available in good weather. There are no further costs for use of the equestrian facilities. Miles and miles of single lane country roads are available for trail riding, in the land around the rancho. We also plan to have occasional organized equestrian activities, such as mounted games or group trail rides; and we may loan out the arena for 2 hours a week to an equestrian therapy group which works with handicapped children.
